NYX Lipstick Swatches

I bought these lipsticks a few months ago, right before I started school and never looked at them again. I never even got the time to swatch them! I finally was cleaning out my makeup stash and got really excited when I found these beauties!

Paris, Pumpkin Pie, Sky Pink, Baby Pink, Eucalyptus (Girl About Town Dupe), Summer Love, Frosted Beige, Power

I have not tried any of these on yet but love at first swatch was: Summer Love, Power, Sky Pink, Castle and Fusion

What I got with the Cherry Culture 20% off sale

Yup! I gave in to temptaion and picked up a few things. I also combined the sale with the points I earned from cherry culture and got $12 off on top of the 20% off. YAY me!

This is what I got:

NYX Blush in Pinched and Red. Now, NYX blush in Pinched has been compared to NARS Orgasm many times. I did not know this when I bought it and was a tad afraid of getting it because I did not like NARS Orgasm and returned it after I bought, BUT Pinched is BEYOND gorgeous! It is more pinker and gold with a hint of peach, where I thought NARS Orgasm was more peach. I think Pinched is prettier and nicer than NARS Orgasm, but that's just me! :P
NYX Red had been compared to NARS Rated R, which I have never owned, so I can not comment on the comparison, but I never had a matte red and thought this was a great brand to try it with.

Next is the LA Splash Liquid Eyeliner in Tropical Lime and Clown Fish. They are very pigmented and last a long time

 AND I got the NYX stipple brush. I never owned a NYX brush and I am tad disappointed with this one. I thought it firmer, BUT we will see as I use it more often. It may surprise me.

Urban Decay Naked Palettes Looks-LOTW-Palette Project

I already knew I loved my Urban Decay (UD) Naked Palette. I am a neutrals girl at heart. I work with them the best and this palette is PURE perfection for neutrals. Using this palette all week made my passion for the palette even more intense..it will truly be missed for the next coming weeks :(

I used NYX HD foundation in Soft beige and Natural mixed together for all the looks and I used UDPP in Eden as an eyeshadow primer and Rock and Republic mascara for all the looks as well.

SUNDAY

The Necklace is from Hautelook, and I adore it! Perfect for the upcoming warmer day

MY FAVORITE looks are really all of them..LOL..but my standouts I think are Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

My NEW Favorite PINK Lipstick: REVLON Pink Sugar

Before I continue on with the post, I wanted to tell you all that I started a more personal blog called Bitchin and Rantin. It is an outlet for me to just plain express my feelings. I saw a post on  For the Love of All Things Girly Blog's  about a letter she would write to her 16 year old self and her letter was so touching, personal and emotional that she inspired me to write my own.

Revlon Colorbust lipstick is honestly my favorite lipstick brand. I like them WAY better than MAC and they are so much more affordable. They range in price for $7-9, depending on what store you buy them from and go on sale quite frequently.

Revlon Pink Sugar is OFFICIALLY my favorite pink lipstick of all time.
It is gorgeous light pink shimmery color and is perfect for any look, any time of day.

I have never had a problem with this site. Two of UD liners that were sent to me were drier than I thought they should be. Up next are the lippies I got. The two in the middle are "FACTORY BLEMS". This is when the manufacture made some type of minor mistake on the product and could not sell it in the stores, whether is be do to a packaging issue or no color name. I decided to just buy them even though I had NO IDEA what the names of these are. The colors looked gorgeous and I took the challenge! These are also my first Estee Lauder lippies and they are great! Very moisturizing and shiny.

Stila Sarah is amazing as well...it is a great everyday lipstick.

88 Metal Mania Palette-Looks of the week-Palette Project

So here are my 88 Metal Mania palette looks. I did not like this palette at first. I thought the color selection was so BLAH and not as good as other 88 palettes...but as I played around with, I started to like it, which is why I love this palette project. If I wasn't doing this, I would have just given up on the palette and it would have sat on my dresser unused for months because I convinced myself that I was not impressed with it. PLUS I  really love the metalic finishes.
