LOOKS of the Week with LORAC BOX office (+swatches) and NYX Glitter Palette-Palette Project

I JUST love my new LORAC palette that I got from Hautelook! It is the Christmas palette from last year I believe and I got it for $10 from Hautelook. Here are the shadows from the palette and these are the shadows I used all week. For some looks I also added glitter on top from the NYX Glitter Palette in Royal Violet from my Ulta haul post (you can see swatches of the palette on that post) AND FYI, the palette is cream based, just the top of each color comes off dry but once you get rid of that, it is cream underneath. It is a nice formula though and I do like it. If I put it above my crease, it would crease on me even with primer BUT there is no need for glitter in and above my crease.

Sleek Storm Looks with a Urban Decay Naked Palette dupes-LOTW-Palette Project

This week I used the Sleek Storm Palette. I liked this palette A LOT more than the Sleek Orginial, but found that I got bored with it easily as the colors are not super orginal. These colors could easily be found in other palettes and because I have so much makeup, it was easy for me to get bord with this palette quickly. However, at the end of the day, for $10, this palette is a good deal, with two really nice matte colors, that are very similar to the ones in the Urban Decay Naked Palette, which I will compair at the end of the post.

AND as promised, here are the dupes from the mattes in the Sleek Storm Palette and the mattes in the Urban Decay Naked Palette:

On the left is the light brown matte color in the Sleek Storm Palette and on the right is the UD Naked from the Naked Palette

 On top is the dark matte brown from the Sleek Storm Palette and on the bottom is UD Buck from the Naked Palette 

I think these dupes are pretty close. The light brown mattes are pretty darn close and the for the dark brown mattes the Sleek is a tad darker, but they are still close in color.

Urban Decay Naked Palettes Looks-LOTW-Palette Project

I already knew I loved my Urban Decay (UD) Naked Palette. I am a neutrals girl at heart. I work with them the best and this palette is PURE perfection for neutrals. Using this palette all week made my passion for the palette even more intense..it will truly be missed for the next coming weeks :(

I used NYX HD foundation in Soft beige and Natural mixed together for all the looks and I used UDPP in Eden as an eyeshadow primer and Rock and Republic mascara for all the looks as well.

MY FAVORITE looks are really all of them..LOL..but my standouts I think are Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

88 Metal Mania Palette-Looks of the week-Palette Project

So here are my 88 Metal Mania palette looks. I did not like this palette at first. I thought the color selection was so BLAH and not as good as other 88 palettes...but as I played around with, I started to like it, which is why I love this palette project. If I wasn't doing this, I would have just given up on the palette and it would have sat on my dresser unused for months because I convinced myself that I was not impressed with it. PLUS I  really love the metalic finishes.
