INGLOT Lipstick SWATCHES and REVIEW

I bought a few INGLOT lipsticks just to try them out and I like them a lot!

They are $12 for .16 oz and the matte lip pencil is $11 for .16 oz

Inglot Lipstick Finishes are:

Matte
Cream
Pearl
Slim Gel Lipstick
Matte AMC Lip Pencil

They also sell lip paint, which seem to be like liquid lipstick, lip gloss and lip liners too.

I bought every finish EXCEPT for the pearl finish.

The Matte finish is waxy to apply and not moisturizing at all BUT VERY long lasting. Last about 4-5 hours on my lips even when I apply chapstick on top of the color. They have a huge color selection for matte lipsticks, which is very nice. Even though the lipstick feels waxy at first, that feeling does go away. I really like these mattes.

The Cream finish applies like butter and it very moisturizing! I love this finish and how it feels on the lips. They last about 2 hours or so on me

The Slim Gel Lipstick reminds me of MACs Sheen Supreme Lipstick (even though I have never owned one). They apply very easy onto the lips, have a hint of color and are VERY moisturizing on the lips. MACs cost $14.50, INGLOTs are $12.00, much better deal! These last about 1-2 hours on me.

The Matte Collection AMC Lip Pencil are VERY nice. They remind me of the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil (although, again I have never tried them so I can not compair). The apply on to the lips nicely and feel a dry on the lips, BUT that is nothing some chapstick can not finish. These are VERY long lasting as well, with 4-5 hours of wear on me. The NARS matte velet are $24, INGLOT is $11. So, try these first, if you never tried a matte pencil lipstick.

Left to Right: INGLOT 148 Creme, 401 Matte, 418 Matte, 42 Slim Gel Lipstick, 51 Slim Gel Lipstick, 18 Matte Collection AMC Lip Pencil

I hope these swatches and review has helped you. I really like INGLOTs lipsticks and prices. I want more, BUT I think for my next INGLOT haul, I will actually take a trip to their store in NYC (why not? It is just a 2 hour train ride for me!). I think I will go sometime next month and that is when I will buy some more of the lipsticks and try out some other things from them as well.

So how do you ladies feel about INGLOT lipsticks?

A SUPER LARGE RIDICULOUS UN-NECESSARY BUT I WANTED IT! HAUL

I went to Kohl's and CVS during a break I had from work. I was very surprised to find that Kohl's has some really nice make-up. I really do not like Kohl's at all for clothes, so I never really browsed around there until now. I also found some GREAT 75% off finds at CVS. I absolutly LOVE when CVS has 75% off stickers..my eye is like a hawk for them!!

Photobucket

This is everything that I got!!!

I will review the Kohl's stuff first

Photobucket

I got the flirt! flowerific blush, flirt! Big Flirt Thickening Mascara and American Beauty Lipstick

Photobucket

I really love this flirt! flowerific blush! The color is 02 Peach Blossom. First off..it is gorgeous looking. I love the flower design on it, BUT most importantly, when all the colors are blended togeher it is a really gorgeous, very pigmented, peachey-coral color. This is perfect for the summer. The price was $16 which I thought was a tad steep, but it so worth it for this color.

Photobucket

Next I got this really pretty matte nude color. It is from American Beauty and the color it 01 Honey Sweet. I really really HATE the packaging, it it bulky and really not needed, but I LOVE the color, so its okay

Photobucket

This lipstick really took me by surprise!! It was $12 and it is very moisterizering and long lasting. I like it more than some of my MAC lipsticks and it cost less. I am going back to pick up some more.

On lips:

The last thing I got from Kohl's was Flirt! Big Flirt Thickening Mascara on 05 Violet Vixen. This was $12 and I just really wanted a purple mascara. I tried it out and it is not really thickening at all, but I used it as a final coat with diorshow mascara and it did leave a really pretty purple coat.

Photobucket

Now on to my CVS haul...yipee!!!

Photobucket

That beautiful coral nailpolish is 914 Tropical Tempation, that I got for 75% off.

I got four Revoln lip products and I love them all. No regrets here. I really like revlon lip products, they have a really good color selection and I find that the lipstick are very moisterizing and with a standard wear time. Here are the swatches:

Photobucket

From top to bottom:

008 Candy Pink-This was regular price, CVS had a BOGO 50%
001 Lilac- This was 75%
200 Lilac lipgloss- 75% off as well
022 Sunset Peach- This is the other one I got with the BOGO

AHH these colors are amazing and the lipglosses are REALLY nice!! I think I like their lipglosses more than some of MACs. They are not sticky and feel really nice on my lips.

Next, I got a loreal HIP duo for 75% in 807 Poppy.  This is a matte duo and I LOVE it. It is my first time trying HIP and they are so pigmented and blend so well. I may just get some more! Here are the swatches of the duo.

Photobucket

I also got the Revlon Color stay mineral foundation at 75% off.  I have never tried mineral foundation and thought this would be a good chance to try it out. When I did try it as a foundation, I just did not like it. I need a medium coverage and this covered NOTHING! However. I used it as a setting powder after my MUFE HD foundation and it worked great as that. It absorbed the oil on my face and didn't look cakey at all. So this is a winner for sure as a setting powder.

Photobucket

SOO I really didn't NEED any of this stuff but I honestly had a BLAST buying it all and I think I found some really great things. I already did a FOTD with some of the stuff and I will be posting it soon.

Have you tried anything at Kohl's or made a surprisingly good purchase lately?

BENEFIT BELLA BAMBA- with a comparison and Rockin repulic on sale at Hautelook

Every time I look at this blush the LA BAMBA song gets stuck in my head..lol This blush is absolutely gorgeous. It has three of the best colors in it, all wrapped into one beautiful blush. Sephora describes the blush as a "A watermelon-pink blush laced with shimmering gold undertones".
It is the prettiest, peachy-pink-coral blush I have ever seen and MAN is it pigmented.

The blush cost $28  for .28oz of product. It comes in a flip top magnetic box, instead of the original box top blushes that benefit sells.

Check it out here:

Look at that shimmer

I do have to admit that when I first saw the blush, I thought it looked a little similar to MAC Dollymix, so I did a comparison swatch just to see how true that is

Photobucket

Soo..yeah..they are really not that similar. Same pretty sparkle, but dollymix is defiantly darker in color. Both are very pretty, just not the same..lol..

What do you think? Do you own this blush or want it?
I can not wait to start doing looks with it!!

AND HAUTLOOK has a SALE with ROCKIN REPUBLIC COSMETICS. There are TON of eyeshadows, lipglosses, powders and BRUSHES that are 60% or more off!!
I picked up a few brushes and eyeshadows. Check it out HERE

I got the shader and blender blush for under $15 each!! That is an amazing deal, considering they are normally over $30 each.

SOOO check out the hautelook ROCKIN REPUBLIC SALE!!
It is really one that should NOT be missed :)

Two Reviews, I think I found a dupe! PLUS a FOTD

Hello Ladies! Happy Monday!
I have two reviews for you. I was wondering around CVS and I came across  the Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss in Hot Pink Rose. When I saw it I thought it looked really similar to the MAC Dare to Wear, Gimmie that! lipglass, which I always wanted but never got, so sorry ladies, but I personally do not have a comparison swatch for you . However, I took the swatch from Temptalia's Dare to Wear swatches, so you can get an ideas for your self. I think the MAC's Gimmie that! lipglass and Revlon's Hot Pink Rose lipgloss look very similar and I think it is a great dupe for the lipgloss. What do you think?

Revlon's Hot Pink Rose cost $9.00 and I am sure it can be found at any local drugstore. I love the texture of the lipgloss. It glides on smooth and is not sticky at all. The lipgloss has very fine particles of glitter in them which you can see but I cannot feel them on my lips at all. As you can see from the swatch and you will see in my FOTD, the lipgloss is very pigmented and can be worn without lipstick underneath. I really like this lipgloss A LOT!

My next review is the MAC Chromagraphic Pencil in NC15/NW20. This pencil is amazing! It is smooth and glides on my waterline line like butter. It is also long lasting. It stayed on my waterline all day and didn't budge one bit!!! I even laughed so hard that I cried yesterday and color was still on my waterline!! This is rare for me, usually I have to reapply the eyeliner to my waterline throughout the day, but not with this one. I swear I even had some left over on my waterline when I woke up this morning. YES! It is that long lasting..lol

Photobucket

I couldn't swatch it for you on my hand because it just blended right in, but here it is on my waterline

Photobucket

and here is the complete FOTD with the Revlon Hot Pink Rose

On my cheeks I am wearing MAC's dollymix blush, NARS albatros as a highlighter, and Benefit Hoola bronzer to contour

I got a NEW hair Dryer! Jilbere Tourmaline Anti Static Ionic Dryer

So my Solia 1875 W died on me after two and half years of us. The motor died and just stopped blowing out hot air :( I was so upset and with all the hair dryers out, I had no idea which one to buy, so I asked my MUG friends which ones they recommend, and one of the girls recommend the Jilbere Tourmaline Anti Static Ionic Dryer at Sally's Beauty Supply website. I checked it out and fell in love with it

It is such a pretty hair dryer. I love the candy apple red color and it has this rubberized feel to the dryer so it doesn't slip and slide all over your dresser. It also has a 9 foot long cord! This was important to me because my outlet is pretty far from my mirror. It has a high, low, cold and turbo button. The  ceramic ionic technology creates negative ions to dry hair while eliminating static and frizz. It also has 2000 watts of power. These two features were important to me because my hair is naturally thick and straight, and it can get frizzy and take forever to dry. Also it feels much lighter in comparison to my Solia, which is nice too!
However, it is not quieter. I would have liked a quieter blow dryer, but ehhh, no biggie, I am use to a loud hair dryer regardless.
It cost $59.99 or $53.99 with your Sally's card. I paid $40 for it because I had a 25% off coupon!!  Sally's always has some type of coupon going on..so no worries if you missed out on this one

SO HERE IT IS!!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
AHH...nice long cord!!

Photobucket
Out of the box..such a pretty color, I never liked my hair dryer for its color before..lol

Photobucket
The Controls

Photobucket
The concentrated nozzle. I love how narrow it is, I use this extra feature when I curl my hair under with a round brush

Photobucket
AND my hair after I used it! I really like how it dried my hair!! It took maybe 10 min to dry my hair fully..I was impressed!!!! It took a tad longer with my Solia

Overall

I am very impressed with this hair dryer. It has amazing reviews on Sallybeauty.com and I can now see why. I am very happy with this hair dryer and the price. It is hard to decipher which hair dryer is worth the money, but for $40 with these features and results, I think it worth it!!

Rock and Republic BLUSH in Foreplay and I got my NAKED palette!

AHHHH!!! I luv this blush!! Thanks to Faces by the Honey B for introducing me to the Rock and Republic line of cosmetics. You know I am a blush feen and their blushes are absolutely gorgeous, inside and out.

The color I bought was foreplay, which is a beautiful peachy matte blush. This blush is very pigmented and matte. No shimmer what so ever and I love R & R for that!! Matte blushes are really my fave, due to my oily skin.
BUT enough talking about it because you have to see this blush and how it is packaged

Photobucket
This is what the blush is packaged in. It is a gorgeous wooden box. I was so impressed by this.

Photobucket
Then you open the box and see this BEAUTIFUL R & R compact that the blush in! OMG I LOVE the packaging sooo much!!

Photobucket
A closer look at the compact...isn't soo pretty!!

Photobucket
Here is the blush in the color foreplay

Photobucket
On me..I know..I look tired here, I took the pic before school at around 6:30am..haha..but I love this blush on me and I applied a hint of soft and gentle MSF as a highlighter

You can find the blushes at Rock and Republic.com The blushes are $40 each, but I got this blush with a 50% off coupon and .99 cent shipping! The coupon for the 50% is still valid, so just uses ROCKCOSMETICS at the checkout. Since I bought this blush, Rock and Republic has been sending me lot of coupons so it seems like they run a lot of promos, so I doubt you will ever have to $40 for a blush from them. Next time I get another coupon I will pass it on for sure!

On a side note..my UD NAKED palette came in!! YAY!! I won't bore you with 9 million bazillion words on how great this palette is, but if anyone wants reviews or swatches, just LMK. I know people have reviewed this to death, so I don't want to bore you another one, but if you want one I will sooo do it :)

Photobucket

OHHHHHHHHH.....SOOOO PRETTTTTYYYYYYY!!

Photobucket

Off to school now to take my first quiz..I am soooo nervous....
