In and Out number 1

I originally saw this series on Lollipop26 blog's and I really enjoyed reading those posts. So I thought it would be nice to do my own. These are things that I consider to be In and Out for the moment.

IN

Uggs-  Yup! Uggs! I know a lot of people would actually put this on their "out" list, but here in Connecticut we have had over 70 inches of snow and we are expected to get more. Uggs have saved my feet from getting cold, wet and soggy. They are the best winter accessory every! I have had these Uggs for 4 years and they are still going strong.

Forever 21 "Love and Beauty" Nail polish- This is the best nail polish I have come across in a while. I really love the color selections and finishes. This nail polishes also last up to 5 days on me without chipping (and that is with all the hand washing I do). Best thing about this nail polish (if those reason were not enough), is that it only cost $2.80! The price is amazing and can not be beat.

Drugstore Makeup- I am really impressed with drugstore makeup lately.Wet and Wild really has some great eyeshadow and lipsticks. Loreal "Magic Smooth" and Maybelline "Fit Me" foundations are really great. I also really love Revlon's lip stick and lip glosses.

Colored Eyeliner- I am really enjoying all different colors of eyeliner. I have been wearing MAC naked pigment with a different color liner to work almost everyday now.It is a fast and simple look, that looks like it took more effort than it did. My favorites are the CS gel liners and the UD liquid liners. I get so many compliments at work about it.

Orange- I am obsessed with this color for the the upcoming spring/summer season. If I see orange anything I am all over it!

Cracked nail polish- I am so loving this new nail polish trend. I just bought the white and grey crackle from china glaze and I already have the black one from OPI..I think they are so much fun!

OUT

Snow- I HATE it right now. I am soooo over snow. I can not wait for winter to be over.

Zoya Nail polish- I love their color selection, but I am so disappointed in the quality. No matter what I do,this nail polish always chips on the NEXT day! Anyone have any tips for this?

Large Hauls- I really need to cut back on my makeup spending..end of story! No more huge hauling, I really need to cut back and save for my ultimate haul at the IMATS NY!

Eye Shadow palettes made for specific eye colors- It seems like every company is doing this, especially drugstore brands. I just think this is a bad idea and a huge marketing ploy..idk..I do know that certain colors make certain eye colors pop but the number of palettes out there for this is ridiculous. I bought the NYX one and while the colors were nice, I didn't feel like it did anything special for my eyes. Plus sometime I like the palette for the green eyes and don't buy it because I think to myself "oh I don't have green eyes" lol, even though I know I could still buy and use the shadows regardless of my eye color.

What do think? What are your In's and Out's?

I went a TAD overboard with this DRUGSTORE and Walmart haul!

YUP!! I had a bunch of fun and found some really amazing foundations. I found some coupons in my local news paper and got the fountains, HIP eye shadows and the Loreal primer for a really good price. Don't forget you CAN use coupons on drug store make up and then combine that with the sales and you can really save a lot of money.

Loreal Souffle Foundation 516 Nude Beige, Wet n Wild Mega Last Matte Lipstick in just peachy, Wet n Wild eyeshadow palette in Spoiled Brat , Maybelline FIT foundation 125, HIP duo in Mystical, F21 Love and Beauty Nail polish
@ Walmart- Loreal primer, HIP duo in Precious and Romantic
@ Walmart- Treseme Dry Foam Shampoo, Herbal Essence Shampoo in deep clean and conditioner in hello hydration (I love mixing shampoo and conditioners, I feel like I get better results), Treseme Refreshing Spray, Goodie "Metal Free" Elastics (These are my HG elastics, you can NEVER have enough elastics)

SWATCHES
These are the swatches of the HIP duo's. They are all from the new crystal shadow collection, which I really love. I like that they are shimmery without a ton of glitter and shimmer, it is not overwhelming at all. They are perfect for a clean soft look. I got all them with coupons so I believe they ended up being around $3 each. My favorite of the bunch is Mystical, that blue is gorgeous, it is so soft and pretty.
HIP Duo- Romantic
HIP Duo-Mystical

HIP Duo- Precious

Wet n Wild Mega Last Matte- Just Peachy For a $1.99, the color is perfect. These are a tad drying but the color last a good 2 hours on me which is great for the price.

This is what the Tresemme dry foaming shampoo looks like. I do not wash my hair everyday, so I like the idea of dry shampoo. I like the smell of this and it seems to work well. I need to use it more to give an accurate review on it.
Wet n Wild Trio- Spoiled Brat and wow..is this pigmentation insane for only $2.99!

Maybeline Fit 125. My shade with MUFE is actually 125 as well and this FIT foundation is a really great match for my skin. I wonder if they tried to match MUFE's shading on this. I would be interested to know if other people found that their FIT shade matched their MUFE shade as well. I liked this foundation and I will do a full review on this next week.
Loreal Magic Smooth Souffle 516 Nude Beige- OK I first thought this was a primer and just grabbed any container off the shelves. I  had to return it when I realized it was a foundation and get the right color..lol AND WOW for this one! No need for a primer and the feel and texture of the is UNlike anything else I have ever felt on my face. I will do a full review of this as well in a post next week.
Loreal Studio Secrets Primer- This surprised me, but I like it. I bought because I had a coupon for it and ended up paying $7 for it. The primer is smooth and does not feel greasy on my skin, which is important to me because I have oily skin. It also does soften the look of my pores..full review coming soon
Lastly, I got the Remington Ceramic Pearl Infused Heated Clip Setter at Walmart for $29- I love this! It is so easy to use. The rollers have a velvet feel to them which helps you roll up your hair in the curlers and keep it in place.  It takes 90 sec to heat up and 5 min to hold the curl. I had mine in for about 15 min just because I was doing my makeup while they were in.

AND this is my hair after the curlers:

LOVE IT :D LOL!!

Hope you enjoyed this haul...next week will be my official foundation review week. I will review the Loreal Primer and foundation, Maybelline FIT and NYX HD primer and foundation with a MUFE comparision, so watch out for all that!

Makeup Storage Tip #3- How to organize your NYX stuff

I used on simple bead organizing case to organize my NYX pearl mania shadows, jumbo eye pencils and the single eye shadows.

I can not show you how the case looked when I first bought because I used up everything from it, but it basically looked like this.

I bought mine at Walmart for $8.00, but this one is very similar and it is at Amazon.com for $10.07 and you can buy it HERE, if you like what I did with all my NYX stuff and you want to do the same :)

So the case comes with these clear, stackable jars, that are stacked in the slots of the case.
This is how I used the jars:

To the left are  my NYX Pear Mania Pigment and to the right, I depotted my NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils (if you want a tutorial on how I did this just let me know). This makes see the color selections that I have very easy and makes makes both very accessible for everyday use.

And this is how I used the case:

The slots are the perfect size for my NYX single eye shadow cases. Now instead of having my NYX shadows all over the place, they are in one nice convent spot for me to grab and use.

BTW..I tried depotting my NYX shadows  a year or so ago and it was a MESS! These shadows are WAY TO SOFT to depot and I ended up breaking most of them, so this is the best way I can create a "palette" so to speak of my all NYX singles.

You can also see my other Makeup Storage Tips here:
Makeup Storage Tip #1
Makeup Storage Tip #2

And more tips are on the way!

Honestly, this case was so worth the $10, I literally used everything from it!

I hope you found some great tips here, LMK if you have any questions!

LOTW-Palette Project- Urban Decay Book of Shadows (BOS) III (3) looks for the week

My palette project worked great for me and stopped me from overbuying on eyeshadow, however it didn't help with liquid liner (UD liquid liner is my new obsession) or lipsticks..soo yeah..I gotta work on that. However I did have a blast getting to know this palette and all that it can do. I am so happy that I own it.
The palette:

LADIES Don't forget to check your SUNDAY PAPER for MAKEUP COUPONS!

I always forget about it, but there a TON of makeup coupons in the Sunday newspaper. Then you can combine those coupons with the weekly deals in the drugstores to save a TON of money!!

You can also check out Makeup on the Cheap blog. She post all the sales for the week a few days ahead of time from Walgreen's, CVS, and Rite Aid. This can really help your planning and save you $$$$$.

This is an excellent way to try out new shades, formulas and brands or buy your favorites.

YUP! Those babies are all mine! Gonna match them up the sales and hopefully get some great deals!
Can't wait to check my newspaper tomorrow for some more :D
