SO HERE are 7 things you may not know about me


1.) I have been with my boyfriend for 10 years. We met when I was 16 at my first retail job and have been together since :)


2.) I work with my younger sister at the alzheimer nursing home. she is great with the residents and a really good worker. She is 5 years younger than me (which makes her 21) and a very smart girl. She is in school right now to get her BS in Biology and then she is planning on moving on and becoming a Physian's Assistant. I'm so proud of her!


3.) When I am looking for something that I cannot find, I do the action of the item with my hand till I find it. Like when I can't find my eyeliner  sharpener in my mess, I pretend to sharpen my eyeliner while I am looking for the sharpener. Does that make sense? LOL 


4.) I have a severe anxiety disorder. Yeah..I get really nervous and anxious with pretty much anything, especially with test's. Sometime's I do not even know what triggers it. I could be having a perfectly good day, with no issues at all and my body will produce a panic attack. It is awful, but I have been working on it with my DR and I am a little better now.


5.) My nationality is Italian and no I am not ashamed of Jersey Shore..lol Also, sadly, I do not speak the language, my parents never taught me :( 


6.)  I believe that I was put on this earth for a purpose that I have not yet figured out, but I really believe that I am here for some reason.


7.) I just started to volunteer at the Connecticut Hospice Hospital. It is one of the first hospice hospitals of it's kind in the US and I am very proud to be there and give back.

I was tagged by the beautiful Julie from Musing of a Make-up Manic to do this beauty survey. Thanks Julie for giving me my first tag to do..I am so excited! I really enjoy other people's tags because it let's us all know a little more about the person. Julie's was so much fun to read..I hope you all enjoy mine!

What's your favorite make up look?
I really love neutrals. It is such a pretty look, without looking overdone.
I love colorful looks too but I don't  feel super confident with them yet.

Do you have a beauty vice?
BLUSH!! lol..I love it...next is eyeshadow..and I am slowly becoming a lippie fanatic

What part of your body do you love?
I love my hips and my booty..I am a curvy gal and I love it :)

Who is your beauty icon?
Women! All women inspire me..it may sound cheesy, but I think all women are gorgeous in their own unique way and everyone has something beautiful about them to share with everyone.

What beauty product makes you feel instantly good?
My face products..my foundation, concealer, powder and BLUSH!! I have had really bad acne issues and still have some scars from it, so covering those up are important to me and when they are gone, I instantly feel more beautiful!

How do you look after your skin?
As mention above, I have had really bad acne, so skincare is really important to me. I see a dermatologist once a year and everyday, in the morning and night I wash my face with Cetaphil, put a small amount of differn gel on, then MUAC Super C+E, and then MUAC Rosehips Lotion. Then everyday, I rotate and use one of these products: MUAC glycolic acid, MUAC Microdermabrasion, Mario Badescu silver powder or dry mask, or MUAC glycolic pumpkin mask.
Then, as needed, for an overnight spot treatment I use Mario Badescu Drying Lotion.
YEAH..that's a lot, but it has really helped my acne and my oily skin..

What is your signature scent?
I don't really wear perfume..I never hold the scent..but the perfume I love is the Harajuku Lovers in Love

What is your hair care secrets?
My hair is naturally straight and I am really hair stupid! I never know what to do with it, but I do put argon oil in it and sometimes I rotate and use and Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum or the Chi one. I am always changing up shampoo, conditioner and hair dye

How do you pamper yourself?
SHOPPING!! makeup, clothes, shoes, any shopping will do :)

What is your beauty pet peeve?
Drawn on, overdone brows
Clumpy mascara
Orange Foundation
Powdery look
Nail polish that goes outside the nail
Messy eyeliner

What would your desert island must haves be?
I would have to say foundation, mascara and of course..BLUSH!!

Finally, do you have a beauty philosophy?
"Human is beautiful, perfect is boring"

Tyra Banks said this in America's Top Model, season 1 and it just stuck with me. I think is sums up makeup for us gals. We strive to be perfect with it, but we are beautiful without the perfection of all the rules..if that makes sense!
