SO YEAH..this is a long post, set aside a good 5 min if you want to read the problem we had at the warehouse sale..what a doozey!! lol
So I will start with my LOTD

THE ISSUE WITH THE MAC WAREHOUSE SALE
Then we headed off! We left at 7:00 am and the warehouse opened at 8:00 am, but I read that there are always lines and to get there early. My best friend has a a little boy who is 3 years old. She had arranged to get a babysitter for him, but something happened to the babysitter last minute, so we had to take him with us.
My friend felt sooo bad about, but I soooo did not mind, but I know she probably wanted a day kid free.
So we get to warehouse and start to wait in line, witch is all the way out the door when we got there. The security guard there tell us that the baby can not go in the warehouse. We both were like, OK, but can he wait in line with us and then we can swap him off with each when we get in. He said nodded ok.
Once we got in, there were two other lines. One for our tickets and then one to get into the actual sale.
So before we even gave our tickets in, I asked the security who was accepting the tickets about the baby and to make sure it was ok if one of us went in and the other watched the baby and swapped off like that. He said, oh yeah, no problem, JUST make sure he does not go into the sale. He took our tickets and then we waited in the line to get in. Once we got up to the door, a manager approached us and said, WHOA, the baby can not be in here at all, not even to wait in line. I said, well I spoke to two security guards prior to this, just to avoid a problem like this and they said it was no problem. RIGHT AFTER I SAID THAT, the original security guard I spoke to outside, came up to me, pointed HIS FINGER AT ME and said, YOUR A LIAR! I told you he could not come in!! WHOA WHOA..do not come up to me like that! I was shocked!! You best believe I told him off! I said, DO NOT CALL ME A LIAR, YOU SAW US WAITING IN THE LINE THE WHOLE TIME!! We told you what our plan was and you nodded. HOW DARE YOU CALL ME A LIAR! At that point, my friend was like ok, I'll just wait in the car with him. I was like, oh no, you are going in to this, you waited in line with me and that is NOT RIGHT! So I talked to the manager and he agreed to let her right in after I was done and I then I could watch the baby in the car while she shopped. LIKE REALLY! OMG! What an experience that was! When she left, the women around us could believe how they acted and said they completely understand what it is like when you can not get child care because they are parents themselves and that they handled it so wrong. They were so worried about if they were going to let my friend back in. I explained to them that they would, BUT the manager overheard all that too and jumped in..all nice of course..and said, oh no, she is coming back, we just don't want the baby to get hurt..blah, blah, blah...I get it! I don't want the baby hurt either and that is why we were NOT going to let him into the sale! URGH! That experience was EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA! but it all worked out and we both got to go in...so ON TO THE HAUL!!
I got the DKNY Red Delicious perfume and lotion set for $30, I am King Set for my boyfriend for $30, three Bobbie Brown Lip pencils + sharpener for $30 and the MAC Eye set for $20
Bobbie Brow Lip Crayon- Amazing formula- Naked Pink, Pink Raspberry, Sugar Blush
MAC Eye set- Violet Pigment, Micoviolent Fluidline, Zoomlash sample, small eyeliner brush and the cosmetic bag. I gave the mascara, bag and brush to my friend..I so do not need any more brushes or mascaras..lol
The swatches are (top to bottom) Macroviolet fluidline, Violet pigment, and then Violet pigment on to of Macroviolet fluidline (I think this combo is so pretty!)
I also grabbed the GRAB BAG at the end of the warehouse. It was $60, but it had a ton of full sized products, so I thought it would be fun to see what was in it. When I got to the register, they ended up only charging me $20 for it! I was so happy!! This is what came in the grab bag.

PHEW! That is a lot of stuff for $20!! I told my friend to grab that grab bag to, but they tried to charge her $60 for it. So when we got back to her house I gave her all the Estee Lauder eye shadows, the MAC eyeshadow, and 3 out of the 5 MAC glosses. I have so many lip glosses and eyeshadow AND got such an amazing deal on the grab bag that I had no problems giving her that stuff. She is trying to build up her own collection, and I am more than happy to help her do that!!

When we back to her house, I did her makeup. She is not comfortable with brights yet (which I totally get because I wasn't at first either) SO I gave her a nice neutral look.

We finished the day hanging out her house, we watched TRON, went to TARGET (so she can get the Sonia Kashuk Makeup Brush Set..lol), then went a party at her friends house. Before I knew it, I was on the ferry back to CT :(
